The 2015 is the 14th season
The Luna Rossa Water Ski Team is about to start the 14th season: the club, that started its activity in 2001, is now ready to face a new season as a protagonist of the Italian, European and World Water Ski championships.
The 8 athletes of the team are: Pietro De Maria, the world champion 2013 slalom category paraplegic Mp2, the first Italian paraplegic athlete that ever won a good position in the main discipline of the world championship for number of competitors; Alice Bagnoli, first in the world junior combined ranking, that in 2015 won the first place as Italian champion in the category figures at KLI in Fosso Ghiaia (Ravenna) besides winning two second places in both categories combined figures and jump; Lorenzo D'Alberto, member of the National Open, Italian absolute vice-champion 2012 of figures and combined, and then Riccardo Cavalli, that came back racing after one year of stop due to an injury, and won a good place in figures and combined at the italian championship under 21; Carlotta La Ganga e Martina Bagnoli that won the silver and bronze medal at the world Championship 2013 in their category; Daniele D'Alberto, coach and Italian champion in the category senior 3 of jump; and that Matteo D'Alberto, that is waited to come back racing and that will give the team a big contribute, in order to try to win the Team National title, that is still missing their palmares
The clou appointment of the season are the European parachampionship in combination with the category under 21, that will take place from the 18th to the 20th of July in Recetto (NO), where we will see Alice and Pietro racing: around middle of August the European championship in the Czech Republic, while at the end of August the Young European Championship in Spain will take place. Alice Bagnoli will also partecipate to the Juniores World Championship: have fun with water ski!
